On what will be the final Fanzone interview of the 2019 season, I sat down with Beth Jones to discuss the Denver Broncos as the season comes to an end.

Can you believe that another Denver Broncos season is coming to an end? I cannot believe it myself. I really wish it would have lasted a bit longer. But there seems to be so much promise going into the final game of the season and beyond.

Have the Denver Broncos found their answer in Drew Lock at quarterback? What pieces are missing for this team to compete in 2020 and beyond? What will happen once this team gets another season with this coaching staff under their belts?

There are a lot of questions to answer that have a lot of promise for the future. But until we can get a clear answer, the questions will need to remain as questions. But for the first time in a while, I believe Broncos Country is okay with that.

But first things first, the Broncos must spoil the Oakland Raiders chances of making the postseason. That would be the cherry on top of what was a tough season that has promise.

In the final Fanzone interview of the season, I have sat down with Beth Jones, who is a Denver Broncos fan and one whom I have had a few conversations with over sports the last few years. Let us see what she has to say about the state of the Denver Broncos.

Ty: The Denver Broncos got a big win over the Detroit Lions. What stood out to you most in that win and why?

Beth: Phillip Lindsey is becoming a much stronger running back over the season. Hes gotten better as the season has progressed & has begun to master the art of running downhill.

Ty: Drew Lock has been impressive, going 3-1 in his first four starts. What are your thoughts on him as he closes out the season?

Beth: I really feel we may have finally found our guy. He has exhibited grace under pressure beyond his years & seems to have an innate feeling for the ebbs & flow of the the game. Im super excited to see how he progresses over the off season.

Ty: As a Denver Broncos fan, what is your favorite memory of all time and why?

Beth: Our first superbowl win with Elway. After all the naysayers who thought he couldn’t win at that level for him to bring the championship to Denver was an amazing moment.

Ty: The Broncos close out the season by welcoming the Oakland Raiders. What will it take to get the win against a long time AFC West rival?

Beth: If our defense can do its job & our running game stays tough & controls the clock I think we can beat them.

Ty: Which player on the roster has surprised you the most this season and why?

Beth: Devontae Harris was a surprise and Kareem Jackson has stepped up. Really impressed with the intensity with which they have played.

Thank You Beth for taking the time out to chat with me. That is all for the Denver Broncos Fanzone. Wishing you all a wonderful holiday season and hopefully a successful 2020 for the team.
