Santa’s Naughty List

Garett Bolles

By: Shelby Manning

Did you think there would be a naughty list without Denver Broncos’ LT Garett Bolles? I mean, come on. Garett Bolles seems like a wonderful guy, and is well liked by staff and teammates. However, his level of play is simply unacceptable. In his last 16 games, he has 15 holding penalties against him (per Andrew Mason).

It seems that Bolles has been called for holding or a false start in nearly every game this season, and was called for offensive holding four times against the Chicago Bears. Bolles killed many drives in 2019, and it seems that he still is struggling to adjust to playing at a professional level.

Although Bolles has put together cleaner performances since rookie Drew Lock took over, Bolles has to be quickly running out of second chances. It is imperative that the Denver Broncos bring in some competition for Bolles, via draft or free agency.
