Penalties

The Denver Broncos started out in a 10-0 hole, causing fans of the Denver Broncos to go into a quick panic. One culprit of this deficit early on would prove to be penalties, which the Broncos picked up in pretty fast fashion. The Broncos would settle down and play a much cleaner second half, but could have been in big trouble if they had not been able to erase the deficit.

The Broncos finished the day with six penalties for 50 total yards, which really is not that much, although majority of the penalties would picked up early on. It would also be impossible to not mention that one of those penalties was an offensive holding against left tackle Garett Bolles as well.

The Denver Broncos are currently 18th in the NFL in penalties, pretty good considering how often the offensive line have been penalized in 2019. If the Broncos’ line can clean up their mistakes more often, they can fall even further down the list in 2020.
