Broncos’ Special Teams

The Denver Broncos looked like a much better team after starting out in a 10-0 hole. However, a special teams blunder would make the game a little more interesting than need be. The Broncos’ team allowed Detroit Lions’ punt returner Jamal Agnew to return a punt for a 64 yard touchdown, making him the only player with both a punt and kick return for TD’s in 2019.

The punt return would end up not really making a difference, but it would not be the first special teams blunder this season, and on more than one occasion has a returner been allowed to gain significant yardage and setting the opposite team up in a favorable position.
