With Phillip Lindsay on the cusp of a second-straight, 1,000-yard season, running back is not the highest priority on the Broncos 2020 offseason wish list, but with so many picks, this is a luxury they can afford and a risk they should take.

While I still think Lindsay is a strong starting back and Royce Freeman has the potential to be a featured back, a player like Najee Harris might be the best of both worlds for the Broncos.

Harris has been outstanding this season both as a runner and receiver, drawing some comparisons with his 6-foot-2 frame to former Chicago Bears running back Matt Forte.

Watching Harris play, it looks like he would be an ideal fit in a one-cut system and obviously the Broncos feature their backs in the passing game often. He’s more than up to that task, showing off excellent hands and natural ability to win at the catch point.

With his size, physicality, and pass-catching abilities, Harris could end up becoming a featured back in Denver someday.
