One of the most popular picks I’ve seen to the Broncos in 2020 mock draft simulations is Utah defensive lineman Leki Fotu, and when you see him play you can understand why.

Getting consistent pressure on the defensive line is such an important piece of the Vic Fangio defense, and Fotu has done just that in his time with the Utes.

The third-team All-American finished this season with six tackles for loss at Utah and at 6-foot-5, 322 pounds, he could be a fascinating weapon for the Broncos to utilize in the middle of their defense but also flexing him to other defensive line positions.

The Broncos have some big free agents on the defensive line, and while Fotu is not a reactionary pick, he’s the type of player who could come in and give the Broncos valuable snaps as a rookie in case Mike Purcell needs someone to rotate in the middle of the defense.

Fotu has excellent power and play-strength, and would give the Broncos a nice option in the middle of their defense who plays with great intensity.
