Denver Broncos mock draft: Getting to the playoffs in 2020

Jake Hanson is another player I’ve mentioned before as an option for the Broncos, and obviously offensive line depth is a serious concern for this team.

With Mike Munchak coaching this unit, I sleep much better at night, but there’s nothing wrong with giving him higher draft picks to play with.

The Broncos are going to probably try to bring back Connor McGovern after the season — I would if I were John Elway — but they need depth on the interior regardless.

Hanson is an experienced player and I would think he could help you out in a pinch at either guard or center.

I love the fact that he’s a four-year starter. Maybe you even make this pick if you think Hanson is going to be a day one starter for you at center and McGovern can move over to the right guard spot, which should be open if the Broncos cut Ron Leary as many expect.
