Bryce Callahan, CB

Bryce Callahan was expected to play a huge role in Denver for the Broncos in 2019. He signed with the team in large part because the head coach is his former defensive coordinator with the Chicago Bears.

Unfortunately, Callahan suffered an injury that required a screw to be placed in his foot and has not played in a regular season game for the team yet. That will unfortunately have to wait until 2020.

I am excited to see what role Callahan will have with the Denver Broncos in 2020 because of his big play making ability. For his career, he has 123 tackles, 21 passes defended, and four interceptions.

All under the guidance of Vic Fangio as his defensive coordinator.

It seems as if the Broncos players have needed a lot of time to adjust to Fangio’s system, but with Callahan being with him for his entire career, that should not be a big problem.

Callahan signed a 3-year contract worth $21 million this last offseason. Hopefully he will be able to remain healthy during the last two years of the deal, with his first one being a wash.
