Kareem Jackson, S

Kareem Jackson was signed by the Denver Broncos during the 2019 offseason because of his tackling ability and hard hitting. He has proven to be the team’s best offseason free agent signing this year.

Jackson has recorded 10+ tackles in two different games this season, including last week, when he was named the Defensive Player of the Week for his 11 tackles, one interception performance against his former Houston Texans team.

Jackson can play cornerback as well but has mostly played safety during his time in Denver. That has been a very good decision by head coach Vic Fangio despite the lack of depth at the cornerback position.

Depending on several things, such as the expected departure of Chris Harris Jr. and what the Broncos do in the 2020 draft, we could see Jackson play more cornerback next season. I fully expect him to be a critical piece of the secondary next season. Who knows? Maybe we can start talking about a new No Fly Zone…

If they can find a solid replacement for Chris Harris Jr.
