Stock Down

Since there is so much good to reflect on after this performance, let’s get to the bad and the ugly first and get it out of the way, shall we?

Fourth Quarter Play

The Denver Broncos have often been a tale of two halves throughout 2019, and it is very likely that Broncos’ fans began to get a bit nervous throughout the fourth quarter, when it almost felt like the Houston Texans could possibly get back into this thing.

The Texans seemed to find their footing a bit, and Deshaun Watson was able to create some scoring opportunities for his team, while the Broncos could not put together sustainable drives. In fact, the Broncos would only score once in the second half, early on in the fourth quarter. The play-calling on both offense and defense seemed to soften a bit in the fourth, much to the chagrin of members of Broncos Country all over the country.

Conservative play-calling has very much been the kryptonite of this team, and has put them in many losing situations. The Broncos hung on to win by two possessions, but it was scarier at times than it really needed to be.

The second half play is something this team will really need to remedy in the coming weeks and in the offseason.
