The Denver Broncos head to Houston to battle the red-hot Houston Texans in a Sunday morning showdown. We preview the matchup here.

The Denver Broncos will face a tough match-up Sunday.

They hit the road to Houston to take on the Houston Texans, a serious player in the AFC playoff picture, led by quarterback DeShaun Watson, who, if not for the play of Ravens QB Lamar Jackson, would be more heavily involved in the MVP race.

The Texans are currently 8-4 and the leaders of the AFC South, although that division has become a lot more interesting with the Tennessee Titans emerging as a potential dark horse contender. The Texans are coming off of a 28-22 victory over the New England Patriots on Sunday Night Football.

Meanwhile, the Denver Broncos are 4-8 and now sitting at third place in the AFC West after a stunning victory over the Los Angeles Chargers, on a long field goal attempt by Brandon McManus. The Drew Lock Era began in Denver with a bang, and Lock will be greatly tested in this matchup against Houston. However, the Broncos really have nothing to lose in this game.

Let’s get to the preview.
