DENVER, CO – NOVEMBER 4: Outside linebacker Von Miller #58 of the Denver Broncos has a word with defensive end J.J. Watt #99 of the Houston Texans after a 19-17 Texans’ win at Broncos Stadium at Mile High on November 4, 2018 in Denver, Colorado. (Photo by Justin Edmonds/Getty Images) /

The Predominantly Orange staff predict the outcome of the Denver Broncos and Houston Texans matchup and every other week thirteen game.

Last Sunday, the Denver Broncos faced the Los Angeles Chargers. Not only that; they did it with rookie quarterback Drew Lock.

Finally.

Lock looked pretty good at times and the Broncos allowed him to take shots down the field as well. Heck, Lock even changed a route for Courtland Sutton to run.

In the end, the Broncos came out victorious by a score of 23-20.

Lock got the nod for this upcoming week, against the Houston Texans, replacing Brandon Allen for a second-consecutive week and for the remainder of the season, barring some tragic injury.

This is an exciting time for Broncos Country. The Denver Broncos have gone through plenty of quarterbacks since Peyton Manning retired. Now, I know it is early, but I have a feeling Lock will become the real deal in Denver going forward.

Courtland Sutton has emerged as the team’s No. 1 receiver and Phillip Lindsay the top tailback (he out-carried Royce Freeman 17 to 5 against Los Angeles).

This week, the Broncos head to Houston to take on Deshaun Watson and the Texans.

The Predominantly Orange staff will try to predict the outcome of the Broncos-Texans game, as well as pick who we think will win every other week 14 matchup across the NFL.
