Denver Broncos 2020 mock draft: Building on Drew Lock’s debut

There are three prominent members of the Broncos’ current defensive line slated for unrestricted free agency: Derek Wolfe, Shelby Harris, and Adam Gotsis.

You’d love to see one if not two of these players come back in 2020 if it’s possible, but the Broncos may look at interior defensive line players regardless.

It’s always been John Elway’s MO to go after defensive front seven players early in the NFL Draft, and this would be a similar strategy to last year where he went with three straight picks on the offense before taking a defensive lineman.

Jordan Elliott is having a second straight really strong season for Missouri. With 16.5 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks over the last two seasons, the 6-foot-4, 315-pound Elliott has shown he can live behind the line of scrimmage and help as both a run defender and pass rusher.
