Going with wide receivers two out of the first three picks in next year’s draft may seem like overkill, but I don’t think it is.

The Broncos have had six receivers on the roster all season, and nobody besides Courtland Sutton has been able to consistently produce.

Tim Patrick could be a key piece, but we’ve only seen him produce in spurts. DaeSean Hamilton has the football version of the ‘yips’ and is dropping too many passes. Diontae Spencer hasn’t gotten involved in the passing game quite yet. Juwann Winfree has been a healthy scratch most of the season as he develops. Where is Fred Brown on gamedays?

I think the Broncos need to sort of overhaul this position and be willing to take shots on a couple of guys, and lucky for them, a first-round talent like Tylan Wallace could drop to the early third round due to an injury he suffered this past season at Oklahoma State.

Wallace has exceptional speed and is a play creator after the catch. He can play inside or outside and win at every level of the field.

It would be amazing to see the Broncos go into the 2020 season with a combination of Sutton, Ruggs, Wallace, and whoever can stick around between Hamilton, Winfree, Spencer, and the other guys developing.
