Can the Denver Broncos complete the sweep of the Chargers?

Denver may have only three wins in 2019, but they have a chance to get their second divisional win of the 2019 season. By doing so, they will get the chance to sweep the season series with the Chargers for the first time since the 2015 season.

Denver was able to use their strong defense in the first game to take a 17-3 win and then Peyton Manning made his return to the game in a 27-20 win that gave them the AFC West Division, a first round bye, and home field advantage throughout the playoffs. And we all know what happened after that.

The second meeting with the Chargers always seems to be the most difficult one in recent history. Hopefully the Broncos will come out on top.

How will Drew Lock do in his first NFL start, if he plays?

Vic Fangio and the Broncos organization made the decision to give the second round draft pick a chance to showcase what he can do. After Joe Flacco went down for the season due to a neck injury, Brandon Allen took over.

With what appears to be the season going up in flames, it makes all the sense in the world to give the rookie quarterback a chance to prove what he can bring to the Denver Broncos in 2020. If he is able to be successful, it could solve one position going into the offseason. He was activated off injured reserve on Saturday. As of this writing, the starting quarterback has yet to be decided.

But all eyes will be on Drew Lock if he does start.
