What Ty Walden is thankful for

1. Super Bowl 50

It may seem like a long time ago, but the Denver Broncos were champions of the NFL a few years ago. It was quite a magical time. After getting blown out in Super Bowl 48, John Elway made it his mission to improve the defensive side of the football.

He was able to do that with guys like Aqib Talib, Demarcus Ware, and T.J. Ward. The following year, he would add Darian Stewart. 2015 was fun because if seemed as if every game had Broncos Country at the edge of their seats.

The season saw the Broncos defense take over games and it helped lead them to another Super Bowl appearance. The cherry on top was seeing the Broncos defense go to work and harass Cam Newton on their way to a third Lombardi Trophy.

It was a magical season that ended in the most amazing way possible. I could not sleep after that game and ended up talking and making a new friend on that night.
