2. Von Miller

Von Miller, a top linebacker in the entire National Football League, is the player I am most thankful for.

Despite missing twelve games during his career, which started in 2011 as the second-overall pick, Miller has 104 career sacks. He has had 10+ sacks in seven of nine seasons.

He is also the proud owner of the MVP award for his performance in Super Bowl 50, in which his Denver Broncos won 24-10.

I am thankful for Miller for not only his stellar play on the football field, but for his kindness to the fans and media. I was starstruck a couple of years ago when I met Miller at training camp.
