3. Broncos Free Agency After Super Bowl 48

Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos had a historic offense only to be manhandled by one of the league’s historic defenses. When the Broncos lost that Super Bowl, questions were where do the team go from here.

Elway and the front office made four key moves instrumental to the winning Super Bowl 50. That following off-season after Super Bowl 48, the team signed Aqib Talib, DeMarcus Ware, TJ Ward and Emmanuel Sanders.

All four were intricate pieces of a defense and offense under Manning. Defensively Talib, Ware and Ward were part of a historic defense that suffocated teams from start to finish. Sanders had instant chemistry with Manning. Ware created a bond with Von Miller that is irreplaceable making him the player he is today.

The strongest memory I’m thankful for is the Broncos decision to sign DeMarcus Ware. Not many may remember, but Ware was close to not being signed by Denver.

Denver were pen to paper away from sealing a deal with Jared Allen. All during this time Denver found out Ware was released by Dallas. Ware immediately signed with switching what could have been Allen instead of Ware in Denver.

What are you thankful for regarding the Denver Broncos this year or in the past?
