Peyton Manning

One such move by John Elway and company is one of the best moves of all time in free agency. Elway, former coach John Fox and others helped sign Peyton Manning. The future Hall of Famer jammed arguably more in his tenure with the Denver Broncos. He also owns a better record in head-to-head AFC Championship games versus Tom Brady. The same Brady that many feel is the greatest of all-time. That Brady.

Manning created a winning culture infectious to an entire team. It made Denver a desirable destination. Players wanted to be a part of a Super Bowl contender with Manning. The Hall of Famer set a standard of excellence as well.

First in and last out of the office (practice field). Perform to the last drop and spend the same amount of time in the practice field as the film room.

Certainly one of the fondest memories I have of Manning is the scramble in the AFC Championship game in 2015 making the entire bench rise to their feet in shock. Second, the comeback against the once called San Diego Chargers. Third, the seven touchdown game against the Baltimore Ravens. Fourth, myself spending time by my phone during school to enjoy Manning Watch.

Lastly, the moment Manning signed is one I’ll cherish. I stayed home from school to attend class on the day Manning signed with the Broncos. Therefore, to catch every media outlet talk about the signing.
