3. Broncos Vs Raiders, 2018

The Broncos second home game in 2018 was a game to remember. Not only would Phillip Lindsay get his first 100 yard rushing game, but the finish was quite wild. The Raiders led most of the game, but momentum did a total 360 when an unknown receiver wearing #81, who goes by the name Tim Patrick, hauled in a huge reception from Case Keenum that would set up a Brandon McManus game winner as time expired in Denver.

I got to attend this game, and although Derek Carr only allowed one IN-COM-PLETE chant, the game itself was electrifying and the Broncos faithful brought their A-game that day and was easily the most exciting game I had attended.

On a side note, this was also the day my now husband asked me to marry him, and full disclosure, he is a Raiders fan. While I was ecstatic with the end result (and the shiny addition to my ring finger), he was not as happy and was probably regretting his decision!

All jokes aside, he was a good sport about it.  What’s the secret to a successful marriage to a division rival? A: You will get along every day but twice a year, and one of you may be sleeping on the couch that night! Joking, once again…maybe.
