The Broncos’ Offensive Line

The offensive line struggles continue onto this week. While the offensive line’s job becomes a little easier with protecting the mobile Brandon Allen versus the statue-like Joe Flacco, they could not get the job done time, giving Allen little time to throw and hanging him out to dry on a few occasions.

Garett Bolles tops this section with adding on to his holding penalties, bringing him up to a league high 13 holding penalties called against him on the season. At this point, the excuses truly have run out for Bolles, and it becomes more unlikely each week that Bolles will be a starter in 2020, or may not be on the Denver Broncos’ roster at all.

As long as the offensive line continues to struggle, there is a strong chance the issues at the QB position will persist as well. The front office must not only look for new talent in the draft and free agency, but may need to consider a Plan B if Ja’Wuan James does not pan out for the Broncos, due to his unavailability.
