Could this be Brandon Allen’s final start?

Due to the Denver Broncos season all but lost based on the 3-7 record, do not be surprised if the game against the Buffalo Bills will be the last game for Brandon Allen, especially if Denver does not win. There are reports that Drew Lock could be activated off injured reserve sometime after Sunday’s game.

It appears as if the Denver Broncos could use the final five games of the 2019 season to see what the team has in their second round quarterback from Missouri. If this does end up being the final game for Brandon Allen, I believe he did well enough to return to the Broncos as a really solid spot starter/backup.

Of course, this could all be dependent on how the game goes on Sunday, but it appears as if three games could be it for Allen. His performance on Sunday will tell us what his future is going forward.

How will the Broncos running game fare going forward?

In last week’s game against the Minnesota Vikings, Andy Janovich went down on his arm and it went limp as he held it to the sideline. Turns out that he hurt his elbow and is now shut down for the remainder of the season.

Janovich was a huge part of the Denver Broncos running game. The fact that he is now out for the season could impact Phillip Lindsay and Royce Freeman. And with the offensive line not as strong, it is something that I am a bit concerned with.

Hopefully Andrew Beck can fill in some big shoes.
