It is the same song and dance for the Denver Broncos as the team let a 20 point halftime lead slip away in one of the most frustrating halves ever seen.

I needed a few minutes to cool off after what I saw in the second half between the Denver Broncos and Minnesota Vikings. Now that I have given myself that time. I will begin with this.

What happened in that game? I am truly speechless. Denver had a 20-0 halftime lead. They were up 23-7 after the third quarter. The final 15 minutes of football were the most frustrating. Denver was outscored 20-0 in the final quarter.

Minnesota was able to drive down the field and score a touchdown right out of the second half gates. But Denver was able to respond with a field goal. But once the fourth quarter started, it fell apart in a big way.

Next. Broncos need to be YAC monsters vs. Vikings. dark

The Denver Broncos offense in the second half was painful. They could not get a lot going and the play calling got really conservative and way too cute for my liking. Just drive down the field and get some points. And they were a part of history in a bad way once again.

I will give credit to Brandon Allen for doing his best to give the Broncos a chance to win this game. He was able to lead the team down the field and got them within less than five yards from winning the game. But three missed passes led to a loss.

The final play could put a lot of Broncos Country in a fit of rage. But I will let you be the judge of the final play of the game. What we do know is that Denver will have to resume their road trip next week as they will face off against the Buffalo Bills. All I can say is 9-7 until we are not.
