Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller said some very positive things about rookie quarterback Drew Lock that should give him confidence going forward.

The Denver Broncos have had a plethora of quarterbacks go through the Mile High City since the retirement of Peyton Manning. Will Drew Lock be the answer the team has been looking for since 2016?

Linebacker Von Miller didn’t hold back in his comments regarding his excitement about Lock.

While Lock has yet to play in a regular season game, and just returned to practice last week after 10 or so weeks rehabbing a thumb injury, Miller sees some great things from Lock.

He even went as far as to say he thinks Drew Lock is a star in the making.

A star in the making? Wouldn’t that be nice? After three years of BandAid quarterbacks, it’s time for the Denver Broncos to find the answer they have been looking for.

Miller has been part of some great teams since being drafted in 2011. He has also been in Denver for the bad times. The star pass rusher even sees some star quarterbacks in Lock.

Since the retirement of Peyton Manning, Miller has been on teams that have had Trevor Siemian, Brock Osweiler, Paxton Lynch, Case Keenum, and most recently Joe Flacco.

It is time for the Denver Broncos to find that quarterback of the future. It remains to be seen if Lock is that guy, but the Denver Broncos need to figure it out now.

Drew Lock has a long way to go. Like I mentioned, he just returned to practice last week after months away from the field. That certainly pushed him back a little bit.

Next. Bryce Callahan’s season comes to premature end. dark

Lock is expected to take over at quarterback later this year. The Broncos currently have Brandon Allen under center after placing Joe Flacco on injured reserve. The book is being written and the next chapter of Drew Lock’s young career should be a great story.
