At this point in time, who is going to be the Broncos’ no. 2 receiver going forward?

Will it be Tim Patrick? DaeSean Hamilton? Someone else?

The Broncos haven’t had anyone step up as their WR2 yet this season besides Emmanuel Sanders, and with Sanders gone, the absence of a secondary receiving threat at this position has been troubling.

As a result, don’t be surprised if the Broncos are interested in all three Alabama receivers, including Devonta Smith, who has been known to break off big plays in big chunks.

Smith has excellent speed and is known best for his game-winning touchdown in the 2018 national championship.

He would give the Broncos a dynamic weapon in the passing game both as a threat after the catch and deep downfield with vertical speed.
