7. (Hopefully) Ja’Wuan James finishing the season

Vic Fangio told everyone that Ja’Wuan James’ injury against the Indianapolis Colts was not as serious as his first one, and the Broncos considered him week-to-week.

Fangio didn’t rule out James playing in the Cleveland game, at least publicly, until Friday afternoon.

With last week and the bye week to heal up, hopefully, James’ knee is ready to go. The Broncos have seven games left and would probably love to see him suit up for the final seven games of the season after he missed most of the first nine.

The Broncos paid a lot of money to lure James to the Mile High City, and it’s time for a return on that investment.

His presence in the lineup changes things drastically in terms of pass protection. James has now gotten rolled up on twice this season, costing him quite a bit in terms of games played.

Those checks are still going to cash, but the Broncos need to keep doing everything in their power to get this guy on the field. He was signed to be an impact player, and with two young quarterbacks expected to finish the way this season, he can have more of an impact than maybe even he knows.
