Drew Lock, QB

We don’t have any on-field performance to grade from Drew Lock since the preseason.

What we know of him at this point is that he’s supposedly coming back to practice after the bye week, or shortly after the bye week, and we can expect him to play at some point either in late November or early December.

Lock has been a good sport about it all, although after playing all four years in college, I’m sure he’s chomping at the bit to get out there and play.

Lock, the 42nd overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, could be the Broncos’ quarterback of the future, we just don’t know that yet.

Based on the way the team is treating his return, it’s unclear how confident they are in him being the QB of the future. That part of this whole situation is frustrating, but it’s important to see the bigger picture.

Rushing Lock back into action would satisfy many of us, but it could also be the wrong decision.

Hopefully, when Lock gets a chance to play, we’ll see a confident young player capable of excelling in this Rich Scangarello offense.
