Brandon Allen, QB

Brandon Allen was the man of the hour in Denver on Sunday, reviving a slumping Broncos offense and bringing hope that Denver may possibly have some hope of solid QB production this season.

Finishing the day with 193 yards, 2 TD’s, and a QBR of 125.6, Allen created scoring opportunities that Broncos fans never thought they would see this season. The best part about Allen was that he was able to make things happen via both air and ground. He was able to get first downs with his legs and with his arm, including some gorgeous deep passes to Noah Fant and Courtland Sutton, setting up scoring drives.

In fact, this was the first game where Brandon McManus was only needed to be called upon once. The Denver Broncos were actually able to get in the endzone, twice on beautiful passes by Allen.

The future of Allen and the Broncos’ offense is still unclear. It is also unclear as to whether the Broncos will sustain this production going forward. However, for today, the offense was good enough to win a game, and that’s good enough.
