X-Factors

Josey Jewell

Josey Jewell has not had quite the breakout year that many hoped for. He has been solid, but has been seemingly absent at times, and we definitely have not heard his name as many times this season as we may have expected. He recorded half of a sack in the loss against the Colts.

However, Jewell is capable of much more, and playing against a weaker offensive line may allow Jewell more opportunities to get down and grind in the trenches. Look for Josey Jewell to be on the Browns’ radar on Sunday.

Demetrius Harris

With Browns’ TE David Njoku landing on IR, the Browns’ tight end group lost considerable depth. Although Harris was only targeted twice in the loss against the Patriots, Pharoah Brown is not a certain go with a concussion.

It is also no secret that the Broncos’ defense has tended to struggle defending the tight end, and the Browns may look to exploit that weakness with any personnel they are able to. If the Broncos can shut down their star receivers, this may be the target Baker turns to.
