Trick No. 3: Those darn game winning kicks

This is a real trick because it could very well be a treat if things would have ended differently. However, there have been three times this season that the Broncos Country fanbase has suffered heartbreaking defeats.

It all started against the Chicago Bears. The Broncos drove down the field and were just 31 seconds away from victory after a go ahead touchdown and two point conversion. But the Bears broke hearts. The same thing would happen against the Jacksonville Jaguars two weeks later.

And just last week, the Broncos were in control for the entire game against the Indianapolis Colts. But that too, slipped away in the final seconds.

If those three games were wins, Denver could be sitting at 5-3 going into Sunday’s matchup with the Cleveland Browns, but it is what it is.
