DE Derek Wolfe to the Houston Texans

Just like with Chris Harris Jr., I think pretty much all of Broncos Country would hate to see Derek Wolfe leave.

Wolfe was drafted by the Broncos in 2012 and is one of the best picks John Elway has made in his tenure as general manager. There weren’t many people touting Wolfe as a high second-round player at that time, but the Broncos saw something in him, and he’s turned out to be great.

Although Wolfe’s sack numbers haven’t always been high, he gets the job done in so many different ways and he’s playing some of the best football we’ve seen from him in 2019.

The Houston Texans just lost JJ Watt to a torn pectoral for the rest of this season. I don’t know what Houston would give of their limited draft capital for Wolfe or if it would be enough to entice the Broncos (probably not) but you never know.

Desperate teams do desperate things.
