DaeSean Hamilton

The most likely candidate to replace Emmanuel Sanders’ production is DaeSean Hamilton.

Hamilton was drafted in 2018 alongside now number one wide receiver Courtland Sutton. There’s a distinct difference between both Sutton and Hamilton. The largest, of course, is how pure Hamilton is as a route runner and his ability to create separation.

Hamilton comes from a conference that is notorious for NFL ready talent and his ability to get open regularly will help with that. Where Hamilton has seen frustration this year has been on a  number of drops. However, I am not worried about Hamilton and him being a capable pass catcher.

Even before Sanders was traded, Hamilton was seeing an uptick in playing time and that begged the question of where does this leave Sanders who did not register hardly any catches in his last few remaining games?

In my opinion, Hamilton is a true slot machine. In this day in age of the NFL, those types can be capable number two wide receivers because of how frequently they are targeted. I believe the future is very bright for the former wide receiver from Penn State.
