Run long routes with Courtland Sutton
Courtland Sutton is no stranger to the deep ball. This season, Sutton’s longest receptions have come from 70, 52, and 41 (twice) yards.
Sutton will also have to take on more responsibility with Emmanuel Sanders being traded to the San Francisco 49ers. He now becomes the Broncos No. 1 receiver.
It is good to say that Sutton will need to run long routes and catch deep passes, but actions speak louder than words. What will the game plan be? It should be to get Sutton involved in the game plan a lot.
Indianapolis’ top two cornerbacks are banged up—one with a hamstring injury and the other with a knee injury. The Denver Broncos need to take advantage of this with Sutton. Whoever is tasked with covering him needs to be careful.
