What Emmanuel Sanders meant to me

From the moment Emmanuel Sanders played for us during his first pre-season game, I knew he was our future. I remember calling my dad, screaming, that he would be the next big thing for the Broncos.

A few weeks into our regular season, my Dad (a Rams fan) called me back agreeing that he was the Broncos next big star. I was asked to pick my favorite moment which is impossible because, as cliché as it sounds, every moment was my favorite.

Emmanuel Sanders brought so much excitement to me as a fan on the field, and he went out of his way to connect with the fans off the field. The first Broncos game I ever got to go to against the Dolphins in 2014, I was one of the few with an Emmanuel Sanders jersey at the time.

I held it out before the game for a signature, which he happily signed and literally made my life. I am truly upset he is no longer a Bronco, but I hope he has a successful future with the 49ers. He deserves nothing less!
