Sanders Shares a Special Moment with his Son
By: Shelby Manning
If you follow the Denver Broncos, specifically, Emmanuel Sanders, you likely follow him on social media and have seen his children, Princeton and Zoie. Much like Peyton Manning’s twins, Princeton Sanders became a staple in the Denver Broncos locker room, and Sanders never hid that his biggest pride were his children.
Sanders had said that season that his biggest goal was to have a special experience with his son, and he was able to do just that after the 2016 AFC Championship Game. The Denver Broncos defeated the New England Patriots in a 20-18 thriller that came down to a failed two-point conversion by Rob Gronkowski. Sanders finished the day with 62 yards and no touchdowns, but that was not a concern.
Sanders chose to celebrate the victory with his son in what was perhaps the most touching moment of the 2015-2016 NFL playoffs; he laid on the field with his son making snow angels from the orange and blue confetti on the field as it fell from the sky that glorious day in Denver. The Broncos would later go on to win Super Bowl 50.
There are many special moments from that year, but that is a personal favorite with Emmanuel Sanders.
