After a tough loss against the Kansas City Chiefs last Thursday, Denver Broncos now face the Indianapolis Colts looking like a new team.

It was a very frustrating game from start to finish. After winning two straight against the Los Angeles Chargers and Tennessee Titans, the Denver Broncos fell short against the Kansas City Chiefs Thursday night. Heading into the Chiefs game Denver was confident the season was headed in the right direction. However, it quickly went in a different direction.

The team struggled to get anything going offensively aside from the first drive of the game. After that the Denver Broncos were lackluster and very dry on offense. The offense did so poorly it flipped position to much giving Kansas City the opportunity to take advantage of the short field. Defense did about as well as it could, but down 20-6 at halftime felt insurmountable to overcome and it turned out that way.

Denver must look to rebound against the Colts without Emmanuel Sanders at wide receiver. The Broncos traded the long time Super Bowl winning receiver to the San Francisco 49ers this week. Sanders was the only remaining offensive player from the Super Bowl 50 roster. This means players like Juwann Winfree, Fred Brown and Diontae Spencer will look to enjoy an uptick in their play time.
