Stock Down

Joe Flacco, Quarterback

Joe Flacco has perhaps finally proven this time that John Elway, in fact, missed on another free agency QB addition. Flacco has pretty much been Joe Flacco; he has flashes of brilliance, followed by simply bad play.

It is baffling how a veteran QB like Flacco can have such little pocket awareness and such poor-decision making. However, the biggest red flag about Flacco coming out of last night’s loss was that he seemed to give up.

Flacco has really not gotten anything accomplished so far in Denver, and at this point, it seems unlikely that he will.

Drew Lock is ready to be activated off IR, and it seems more likely than not that the call will be made to see what Drew Lock can do in regular-season play sooner rather than later.

However, there is another big issue with the Denver Broncos that makes that a potentially ineffective option as well.
