Emmanuel Sanders, WR

Emmanuel Sanders is still a top-flight playmker for the Broncos offensively, but he suffered a knee injury against the Titans and didn’t return to the game.

He’s back for this game against the Chiefs, and the Broncos need to find ways to get him the ball.

I don’t know that they need to go so far as to manufacture touches for him in terms of the screen game or anything like that, but Sanders is the kind of guy you do want to scheme some touches.

The Broncos would be wise to get him involved early and often.

Where has this team been lacking the most offensively? I would argue it’s on third down. Sanders is a weapon who should be utilized on third down, whether as the primary target or the main decoy to get someone else open.

I would love to see Sanders coming out with more drag routes, crossing routes, and routes that get him in space to utilize his speed and quickness while also getting the ball out of Joe Flacco’s hand.
