Do you believe, Broncos Country?

The Broncos have an opportunity against the Chiefs on Thursday to do something they haven’t done against Kansas City in four years — win. The stage is set almost too perfectly for Denver.

A home game following a two-game winning streak while the Chiefs have looked human in two straight losses after a 4-0 start. In prime time, I think the Broncos make a statement under new head coach Vic Fangio—death by inches no more. This team can win big games.

The Denver Broncos are coming off their second-straight win, having taken down the Titans at home in a 16-0 shutout. The Kansas City Chiefs bring an injured quarterback and a high-power offense to town to try to get back on track after falling in two straight contests. If there is a time for the Denver Broncos to step up and prove they aren’t a 2-4 team, now is their chance.

Kansas City’s run defense has been abysmal this year, and Denver has a few guys that know how to run the rock. If Denver wants to beat the Chiefs, keeping Patrick Mahomes off the field, and eating up clock with the run game us going to be their best bet.

That being said, Denver’s offensive display last week was not what fans wanted to see. Struggling to put the game away last week, the offense stalled often. All eyes will be on the defense to see if they can limit the damage done by the young superstar lined up across from them.

It’ll be a close one, as always when the Chiefs come to town, but I think I have to side with the Chiefs on this one.
