Demarcus Walker, Defensive Line
Walker had a huge performance in Sunday’s win, accounting for two of the seven sacks recorded by the Broncos’ defensive line on Sunday.
Walker’s second sack of the day came at a pivotal moment- in the fourth quarter, as Ryan Tannehill and the Titans desperately tried to gain some momentum and get on the scoreboard.
On 4th-and-3, Walker wrapped up Tannehill, turning the ball over on downs and giving Denver possession of the ball.
Walker is coming into his own, and perhaps he just needed the right coaching. Below are Walker’s stats under Vance Joseph and Joe Woods versus under Vic Fangio and Ed Donatell:

In 32 games under Vance Joseph/Joe Woods: 2 sacks, 11 comb tackles (9 solo), 2 TFL.
In 6 games under Vic Fangio/Ed Donatell: 3 sacks, 12 comb tackles (8 solo), 1 TFL.
Coaching matters.
In the absence of Bradley Chubb, guys like Malik Reed and DeMarcus Walker have stepped up in a big way. It will be exciting to see how these young guys develop throughout the remained of the 2019-2020 season.
