Stock-Down

Joe Flacco, Quarterback

Joe Flacco did not have a terrible day, finishing with 177 yards, one interception, and a 67.1 QBR.

However, that stat-line does not typically result in a win; the defense is to thank for Sunday’s victory.

Flacco continues to struggle with making things happen and poor decision making. His interception on Sunday was not the result of TE Noah Fant’s carelessness but was the result of a very poorly thrown ball.

More often than not, Flacco’s turnovers are the result of poor decision making, whether it be a badly placed ball or his lack of pocket awareness.

While Flacco is definitely a better QB than Case Keenum, has he really been an improvement? Both have produced more or less the same result — poor choices and very few touchdowns.

If the Broncos want to continue to win, Flacco must clean up his errors.
