Brandon McManus, kicker

Kickers are people too.

Brandon McManus makes this week’s big-star list, and he would have been joined by punter Colby Wadman, too, if Wadman hadn’t started shanking punts as the game wore on.

I suppose he can attribute that to fatigue, as Wadman played just about as many snaps in this game as any offensive player.

All kidding aside, McManus proved his worth once again, nailing all three of his field goal attempts and hitting his lone extra point.

Most importantly, McManus drilled a 53-yard field goal to break a streak of seven-straight field goals from 50 yards or further missed.

The Broncos needed their kicker to come through with a lot of offense in this game, and he provided it.
