Derek Wolfe, defensive end

Although Derek Wolfe doesn’t get a ton of credit for creating a lot of sacks, he’s done a tone of dirty work for the Broncos the past few seasons, and hasn’t been rewarded statistically.

This game, that was not the case.

The Broncos’ defense under Vic Fangio is going to reward the big guys up front if they can put a bull rush on, and one of Derek Wolfe’s two sacks against the Titans was one of the best bull rushes I have seen from him.

And that’s saying something.

Look at the leverage and strength on that play.

My goodness.

Wolfe had another sack later in the game and finished with two sacks and two tackles for loss.
