DeMarcus Walker, defensive line

The Broncos’ second-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, it’s been slow going for DeMarcus Walker in two NFL seasons.

He had a tremendous offseason for the team in 2019, showing he could make plays in Fangio’s defense, and that has translated over to the regular season.

Against the Titans, Walker had four tackles, two tackles for loss, two sacks, and two QB hits.

He was all over the place as a pass rusher and his best plays came at critical moments for the Broncos.

One of Walker’s sacks came on a fourth down play in which the Titans were knocking on the door trying to score when the game was still within reach.

This is a huge development for Walker whose roster spot was rumored to be in jeopardy over the offseason.

After making a hilarious error trying him at outside linebacker in 2017, Waker appears to be settling in in this defense as an interior rusher.
