If Kareem Jackson is one half of the safety duo Vic Fangio envisions for this team the next few years, then Justin Simmons has got to be there on the other side developing and growing alongside him.

The Broncos used a third-round pick on Simmons in the 2016 NFL Draft and he’s clearly established himself as a strong starter in this league.

After picking off Philip Rivers for the first Broncos turnover of the 2019 season in week five, Simmons ensured he would have at least one interception in all four of his seasons with the Denver Broncos.

He’s picked off eight passes in four seasons total, and he’s racked up 210 total tackles to date.

Simmons is an athletic, rangy safety who can come up and play the run in the box as well as sit back and take the ball away in the secondary.

He should be a key piece for this team defensively moving forward and is one of the Broncos’ top core defenders 25 and under.

This one is a no-brainer for Denver.
