The Denver Broncos won last Sunday! I haven’t said that during a regular-season game since early December. But it finally happened in the first Sunday of October.
Now, they face off against a Titans team that has been quite an up and down roller coaster since Week 1. They blew out the Cleveland Browns but have been back and forth with their wins and losses since.
They bring a strong defense, but their offense is not as strong. This is one of the few games that I have seen since the Peyton Manning years where Denver’s offense is better than the opponents. With that said, it will come to the offense.
The first team to score 20 points will likely win. With how the Titans have played, I think Denver gets there first.

The Denver Broncos are 1-4 after picking up their first regular-season win in 9 games. Coming off of a really solid performance, I expect Denver to play a strong game at home against Tennessee.
The Titans have allowed 14 sacks in the last 2 games they’ve played, 9 came two weeks ago against Tampa. While the Titans are by no means a BAD team, they like to play to their opponent, good or not.
The Broncos had a really solid run attack last week, only giving Flacco around 20 attempts. The ground and pound game plan opened up big opportunities downfield, and I would like to see Denver do the same this week.
That being said, I expect Denver to come out with the same fire they did against LAC, and pull off their first home win of the season.

The Broncos finally put enough of a game together to beat the Chargers in Week 5, avoiding their worst start ever.
Sunday’s game is to honor Champ Bailey, so much is riding on the Broncos to win on Sunday.
However, the Titans are the better team on paper, and the Broncos will need to continue their improvement to win this game; home-field advantage has not been a factor this season thus far.
My pick: The Titans win a close one in Denver.

The Denver Broncos captured their first victory on Sunday. The Los Angeles Chargers committed three turnovers. This is something that must be a focus going against Tennessee. Marcus Mariota has been conservative, but when Denver’s defense is on the field, they need to find a way to take the ball away.
Another factor is Denver must continue to power the football in the running game. Phillip Lindsay and Royce Freeman seem to be a budding duo in this league. Denver has to continue featuring them going forward if the team wants success.
The defense of the Titans is stout up front. Denver needs to find ways to wear them down.
