Containing Titans Run Game

The Broncos host the Tennessee Titans this week. The Titans have a great run game with Derrick Henry leading the way. Taking away the run game is absolutely crucial to winning a game in the NFL. If you can’t stop the run, teams will use that against you and control the clock.

They also cannot—I repeat, cannot—miss many tackles, especially against a run-heavy football team like the Titans.

Henry is averaging four yards a carry this season. He also has five receptions for 97 yards. The Broncos struggled to cover Chargers running back Austin Ekeler in the pass game, as he caught fifteen passes for 86 yards.

If they are able to contain Derrick Henry, as well as running-threat quarterback Marcus Mariota, it could be a very nice win.
