Phillip Lindsay, RB

It seems like Phillip Lindsay could just be a permanent addition to this segment. Very rarely has he had a bad performance.

Lindsay took 15 carries for 114 yards and a touchdown, averaging 7.6 yards per carry on the day.

It is not Lindsay’s stats that make him so vital to the Broncos’ offense, although better stats are great. What is so huge about Lindsay is that you can always rely on him to make something out of nothing and to kickstart a successful drive when one is needed.

Lindsay may be one of the most clutch backs in the league. He provided a crucial kickstart to the Broncos’ last offensive drive that resulted in McManus’s field goal and what would eventually put the game away.

In the homegrown undrafted free agent, we trust.
