Five Reason to Watch the Denver Broncos after four games
The Run Game
I love Phillip Lindsay just as much as the next person (and probably more), but I’m going to focus more on Denver’s other back, Royce Freeman, here because everyone already knows how amazing Lindsay is.
What’s not to love about 28? He’s big, he’s fast, and when he gets going, he is very hard to stop. Not to mention he’s got good hands. Freeman averaged 5.6 yards on 10 attempts against the Jaguars, and 4.9 against Chicago.
Having a big power back who can lower his shoulder and move a lineman if he has to is exactly the player needed to support Lindsay. Royce is the type of player you put in on 4 and 1 and he rumbles for 7 yards while dragging 2 players.
He’s just an entertaining brand of football to watch, and a player everyone in Broncos Country should be excited to have on the team.
