2019 stats: 22 total tackles, 4 pass breakups

Although the 2019 season hasn’t been perfect for Justin Simmons, it’s been really solid overall and the Broncos’ lack of overall success has overshadowed some of the excellent play we’ve seen from him through four games.

Simmons leads the Broncos with four pass breakups and he’s done a good job of coming up and playing in the box, making plays on receivers after the catch and showing off his range in coverage.

Vic Fangio recently stated that he thinks Simmons has a ‘bright future’ with the Broncos and the signs are definitely there.

As the Broncos continue to gain chemistry defensively, I think Simmons is going to be the beneficiary and one of the key guys forcing turnovers for this team.
